Good ol Granny Smith….I like to refer to this one as an actually person because this candle has a personality.  Yankee describes this candle as a fresh green apple.   She is just that, a fresh green tart crisp apple.  If you were to stick your nose right over this jar, it is almost too tart!  I love it though because that’s what I think of when I eat green apples.  I never know if it’s going to be a sweet mellow tart or a WHOA WOW tart.  She has a wonderful throw, I would put it about a medium to strong and it’s just like it smells cold.  Sweet, tart and refreshing!

Granny doesn’t disappoint, except in her behavior.  I don’t know if all of the jars in this fragrance are naughty but mine would not stay straight.  Her wick constantly shifted to the side and only burn one area…you can actually see it in the picture above.  After burning this candle for an entire day, with cozies and an illumalid did she finally correct herself and got an even wax pool.

I would recommend this scent to any of you that love fruit scents, especially sweet/tart apples.  It’s a must try/have. Just be warned…she needs constant care…after all she is a granny.

4.5 – I would give her a 5 but she was a tunneling disaster.

Even though coconut scents can be a bit overwhelming Kim’s Coconut Cream Pie is a nice creamy lightly coconut dessert/bakery fragrance.  Great for those of you that dream of coconut cream pie and would like to have the lingering aroma of this delicious sweet treat in your home.  You definitely get the creamy, sweet custard like filling…love it.  As for the throw, it was a lot lighter than I thought it was going to be.  Most of the time, Kim’s tarts are pretty strong.  Don’t get me wrong, it was able to fill a small room easily, but I don’t think it would fill my great room.

I would give this a 5 out of 5 but it was not as strong as I would like it to be.  I will

When I first heard about this candle I was unsure about it.  I am not a big fan of super strong, tropical drink coconut scents.  This is definitely different.  Even though the picture is pretty tropical and when you smell this cold you might be turned off by how strong it is….don’t be!  It’s a wonderfully mellow coconut scent…more like the meat and less like a bottle of tanning oil or a pina colada.   It smells like it might have a little be a lime note added, but it doesn’t seem to stick around long.  Even though most of my WJ candles are super strong, this one is nice, it’s the perfect.  Reminds me of the shredded coconut or if you buy fresh coconut from the store.  There’s no added sweetener to this delectable fruit, pure goodness.   I am burning a two wick medium tumbler that I purchased from my local TJMaxx.  The picture above is a large two wick tumbler also purchased from TJMaxx.
