I don't usually pick up this brand simply because it's out of sight, out of mind. It's on the very bottom of the shelf. The last time I went to Walmart, I noticed the end cap had three or four table top displays.

This polish is a beautiful soft pale pink with a light gold shimmer. I used two coats but a also have it over a white base...I had another polish I was going to use but decided to try this one instead. I did wear before taking these pictures and i didn't have a base underneath. Depending on how heavy handed you are it could be any where from 2 to 3 coats.

I really enjoyed wearing this color and will probably will stop by Walmart to pick up some other colors. SoWhen I wrote my last entry in 2015 I came to find out (weeks later) that I was pregnant with my second baby girl. Of course I didn't want anything to do with wax...just the thought of it made my stomach turn. My baby is almost 1 and we have just now gotten on a schedule...she's been sleeping through the night for a bit now but my 4 year old has been having some night time problems. So as soon as I can get it all managed I will be back on a YouTube/blog schedule. I have both wax and nail polish to haul!

- Tia
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00958328540695569083noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440336602562568354.post-9007011335300845512015-08-03T22:42:00.000-04:002015-08-03T22:42:45.397-04:00Water Marble I am going to be completely honest....I love the way water marbling looks but DAMN it's hard to do. I still can't recreate the same pattern over and over again so my nails match. Of course, it also doesn't help that I am impatient and pull my finger out without checking to make sure everything is cleared away and if there are bubbles to slowly take them out. I get excited and want to see the design. I sometimes pick out the perfect area to then mess up getting the awesome design on my knuckle. Anyway, so let's go over this craziness.

The first thing I do is try to find some polish that is really going to pop on my nails. I picked Salon Perfect Yowza Yellow and Finger Paints Pink Perspective. I saw something similar to this on Instagram and I just had to try and recreate it. Something with the bright pink and the highlighter yellow just screams summer to me. So I figured I would try my own mix. I have never tried these two brands for water marbling. I usually will make a bulls eye and try it out first to see if it will actually show up and spread like it is supposed to on the top of the water. I tried it with these polishes and they did okay. It's hard to see the yellow but that's why I paint my nails white first.

I always paint my nails white to ensure the best eye popping color. For the white polish I use Funky Fingers Gesso. It's super opaque and you will only need one coat. I have had to add a few drops of polish thinner to the bottle just because it can get a little thick. I picked up this polish from Five Below. I have mentioned this before but I might as well keep saying it because I feel that everyone should save their money on basic color polish, something that you might use each week. Why buy expensive polish for that. If you are going to use a white base you really want one that isn't going to take nine coats to make it opaque. Funky Fingers is made by the same company as Color Club and Fresh Paint.

You will have to forgive the messy design because I seriously suck at this...I am not going to lie.

The polishes that I picked for this worked okay. Keep in mind that you will use a lot of polish just because you place several drops in the cup for each bulls eye. I don't use filtered water but I know a lot of people swear by it but I guess my tap water is pretty good. You can try and double up and dip two fingers in the cup.

Here's my attempt at water marbling. I am adding some other pictures of my attempts.

I know they aren't that great and I will keep trying it out until either I get the hang of or get completely pissed off to where I throw crap around the room, yelling profanity. I know there a lot of people out there (I have watched them on Instagram) that rock at this. They do it without any issues. I have tried different polishes, temperature of water, making sure my water is filtered, etc. I used all sorts of tools to drag the image as well. I was using a pin and then I tried a toothpick, a cuticle stick and now I use my water marbling tool from What's Up Nails. You can use what ever is easiest for you.
I just now got my fall scents! I am so excited about these fragrances. I always get excited during the semi annual sale and they have the new scents sitting by the register. Even though it's hot as crap outside and the last thing I am thinking about is fall. Two of them are online exclusives (Cranberry Twist and Brandy Pear Tart). Let's get started shall we?

I will be honest, this didn't sound like something would like. I have tried alcohol type scents before and they are just odd, in my opinion. This one, however, has changed my mind. I actually really like how warm and "bourbon" like this is..Now as I stated on my YouTube video...I don't sit around smelling bourbon so I might be missing some key elements here but this is a very warm and creamy vanilla. Definitely makes fr the perfect vanilla fall scent. "About This Fragrance

Stamping Black
I figured since I have a lot of polishes and I love to stamp I would pick a couple polishes and show which works best. This entry has three polishes: Dark Knight by Funky Fingers, Black Creme by Wet N Wild, and Black On Black by Sinful Colors. Now, I do own some Mundo De Unas polishes and a few actual stamping polishes. I didn't want to bring them out because I want to show you some inexpensive alternatives. You'll need to try them out and see what works best for you.

First up, Sinful Colors Black on Black 103. This is your standard black by this company. It has a pretty good formula for a regular manicure. It's a thin polish so I would say it is the most opaque polish I have used for stamping but if you are in a pinch and need something to stamp with, it will totally work. I'm not sure if you will be able to see anything under the black (if you have something like a gradient on your nails as a base coat). Perhaps if you are planning on doing a reverse stamping thing it will work just fine.
To the left, you will see a sample of a stamp on white paper. This is super thin when you scrape the plate but it's still there so don't stop...proceed because believe it or not it will pick up on your stamper.

I bought this polish from Five Below. It's by the same company that makes Color Club and Fresh Paint which is also sold at Five Below. This is my favorite polish to stamp with since it is super opaque. You have to work kind of fast because it will start to dry on the plate as soon as you scrape. If you try to scrape over it more than once it won't pick up on the stamper. This does a great job with the really intricate designs. It helps since it is so dark everything really pops. Go. Go Now...seriously go now and get this polish. Seriously I can buy 3 of these for $5. That makes these like a $1.67 a bottle. As you can see, it's a beautiful dark black. OoOoO. I will keep buying it as long as they make it.
The price tag is right around what I would want to spend...$0.99 and you can find it at drug stores which is very convenient. If I didn't have a Five Below in my area (which mine JUST opened about two weeks ago) I am sure this would be the polish I would use for stamping. This is the old bottle (just in case you were heading out to find this). It works just fine and the formula is thin and smooth. When you scrape the plate, it almost looks like it disappears but no worries it's still there however, you will need to be careful...this polish seems to be squishy and it will come out of the design (as you can see on the example). It isn't as opaque as the Funky Fingers but it is dark enough. I think with some practice this would be a suitable stamping polish.

Here are the three polishes together so you can actually see the differences between them. Funky Fingers is obviously my favorite and then Wet N Wild would be my second. For 2 bucks I think I rather buy two bottles of the other polishes instead of the Sinful Colors. If you have a favorite polish that you like to stamp with please leave a comment down below. I am always looking for new polishes to try.

I am just your average person who has become interested in stamping and instead of having people go through the same process that I did, I rather share my experience to help people figure it out what choices are out there. This is my opinion and what works best for me. All of these products were purchased by me, of course. Stamping can be a lot of fun! It can also be the worst thing in the entire world know to man (along with watermarbling). There are different things that you have to keep in mind while stamping: The stamper, the polish, scraper, speed and the plate. I am going to break this down and talk stampers today.
Yes, I have a box of stampers. Before I start spouting off about which I prefer, I want to tell you about them...now I'm not going to go off about silicone marshmallow fluff puff because I don't even have time for all that riff raff. As far as that stuff goes, I like the ones that are squishy and a little tacky. Does it really help pick up the image off the plate...don't know the science behind that but I have never had a problem with those types of stampers.
Coverage is really the issue I had with stampers. Let the story begin...So a while back I bought the Salon Express stamping kit. The stamper is extremely hard and I could barely pick up the image off the plate. Eventually I was able to work it a little but didn't really feel like messing with it. That's it...it was a hassle. I hated it and actually threw it out. About a year later, one of my co workers gave the exact thing to me for Christmas. I was like really!? She was so excited and proud that she had the knowledge of what things I liked to do during my free time (as free as you can get working full time and being a mom to a very busy 2 year old).
This thing was so hard (that's what she said) no seriously it was so hard it hurt my nail bed when I would push down to transfer the image. I know what you're thinking... well genius aren't you supposed to roll the image on not push down. Yes, Yes you are but this made it really hard and annoying. If you were just slightly off when you started rolling it at the side of your nail, it wouldn't cover the whole nail because a part of the design got on the skin. GRRRR!!! This is why I gave up on it! I needed something bigger, softer.
This led me to this stamper. It is some cheapy stamper I bought on Amazon. It is super small however, the stamping head is a little softer so I found that I could easily pick up images. It was at least 10 times better than the other stamper. It doesn't have a great circumference by any means but it was easier on my nail beds. Still had problems lining up the image and I'm sure if I really practiced it I couldn't figure out exactly where to put it but who has time for that....I don't my manicure to take 9 hours.
After a while I couldn't stand how little this was...made it hard to handle..I'm on 37 and I don't need to speed up on the arthritis front.

Enter YouTube. I starting watching people on YT make amazing manicures with these really large, squishy stampers....I NEED one of those!

Now some will claim to be extra large but this one takes the cake!! It comes in two pieces - a base and the silicone squishy pad. I like to refer to the bottom part of this stamp as a shot glass. I seriously thought perhaps the person that came up with this was drunk and looked down and said "hey this would make an excellent nail stamper...think of how large it would be!" This is one of the stampers I love. It's the Creative Shop stamper. I have seen several places caring it such as: Llarowe, Uber Chic Beauty, What's Up Nails, Color4Nails...I'm sure there are more than that. I love this stamper because I can stamp a large design and smush my finger into the stamper head instead of trying to roll the image onto my nail. It's super easy to use I love it so much! Anything that is going to make my life a little easier, I am all for it! Now some people will stay they have a harder time lining up this stamp. I could see that if you are trying to do something in a small area and you want it in an exact place but for that I would just\put some top coat on it, let it dry and then peel it off and place it on my nail like a decal. I am not interested in making things hard for me. I don't want to have to re paint nails because something didn't get placed in the right spot.
The one on the left I purchased from Fancy Gloss for $6.00. It is a double headed stamper. The one on the right I bought from Winstonia and I'm not sure how much it was off the top of my head. It is also a double headed stamper but the smaller end is super small. It would work great for small individual stamps like characters. Now...why do I have two? I bought the one of the right first....I have problems with the stampers that have the wide/fat handles. That's why I went with the one on the left. The slim handle is much easier for me to maneuver. I did have to prime these stampers (I just used a fine grit nail file and just ran it across the top until it wasn't shiny anymore). These work perfectly and even though it's not as large at the creative stamper it has enough space with some leeway. Perfect!

I recently bought some plates from Bundle Monster which included this plate, the BM-XL02. This was the first purchase I made from BM and I have to say I am really impressed! I placed my order and about two hours later realized I ordered two of the same plate. I frantically sent an email to their customer support regarding the issue and asked if I could switch a plate for a different plate. I didn't hear back from them however when the package arrived I was truly happy that the switch had been made. Super excited!

Now the polish I used for this was Funky Fingers Dark Knight, which is now my favorite black polish to use for stamping. It's super cheap (3 for $5 at Five Below) and it is nice and opaque. The white polish (Gesso) is a really great one coat white to use as a base coat. If it would behave it would be an amazing white stamping polish but it is super think will work if I thin it out.

Now, on to the stamping! Here's the plate:

I like to buy the plates that are meant for long nails (hence it being called an XL plate) because I feel I get better coverage with the stamp, Smaller plates I feel I have to line the image up and nine times out of ten I miss it by just a bit and have to redo the design. Pain in my rear. So we are looking at 12 different designs and have stamped them on a double sided stamper which I bought from Fancy Gloss but you can find them anywhere. There is just something about the white squishy stamping pad that makes the stamp jump out at you. I don't get the same feeling with the Creative Shop stamper which actually is best for me because it's HUGE! I feel that since the CS isn't opaque white like the stamper you will see I used for the samples, it just doesn't really stand out. You can find those here: Color4Nails or LLarowe (I'm sure there are other places out there).

I really love the way this shape came out. The polish really helped pick up on the small details in this pattern. Of course I have some mess from another design but that's not a big deal. Use some tape or even your finger to get rid of any unwanted stuff. I should be more careful with the amount of polish I am using while doing this next time.

This design is one of my favorites! It really is mesmerizing. It picked up easily and it's nice and big (that's what she said) so I can use any of the stamped area for my nail. I like having choices especially if I am not able to get the full image. If I missed the corner on the pick up there is plenty of extra wiggle room.

Definitely a good pattern for reverse stamping.

This snowflake/flowery pattern is a nice solid stamp, I would totally like to use this over a gradient. It was easy to pick up and I can see a few spots where it didn't quite get it but as I mentioned before this is a large stamp so I think it will be safe to use anyway.

Always nice to have a standard lattice-ish type pattern. This was also an easy pattern to pick up on the stamper. I love how this looks and I think I might try it with some reverse stamping in a alternating color pattern.
I was really excited to try this design out! It came out GREAT! Nice opaque black and no empty spots to be seen. Amazing! It was also an easy design to pick up.
This is the opposite to the lattice-ish design I talked about before. This was AWESOME! I love this ...I don't know I would like to use this one yet but the coverage is amazing!
Crazy circle chains....not my favorite but it would be pretty cool I guess for a reverse stamp. Anyway it did come out pretty clean and clear.
This intricate design was a little bit tricky to pick up. I had to re-stamp it several times. It didn't want to behave but I eventually got it. I would love to use this for reverse stamping or whatever else my imagination comes up with!

I can't tell if this actually picked up correctly just because this is some tiny crap to pick up. It plays tricks on my eyes so it's hard to see if it's right or not. However, the way it shows on my nail when I tried it out ...amazing. Funny how something so simple could be so awesome!

This is one of the designs I don't know if I like. I will have to try it out to see. I picked up okay ..no problems. I see a few areas that are missing some of the circle but I am sure it would have turned out better a second time.
This design, as you can tell, was a pain in the buttocks!! It did not want to behave what so ever. I had to re stamp it like 5 times and it still didn't pick every bit of it up.
I overall love this plate and am super happy now that it is in my collection!
No, it's not a new one but it is definitely a scent that I love very much. Even before I had Miss C I always found this scent to be one of those scents that reminds me of a nursery or baby laundry. A comforting scent which makes you feel snugly, safe and warm.

Yankee's description of this scent is "Wrapped in sweet dreams . . . a lullaby of clean citrus, luxurious vanilla and warm amber."

I get the amber and the slight sweetness of vanilla but most of all it reminds me of fresh laundry and that is where the clean citrus comes in to play. I like to burn this after Miss C takes her bath. It makes her baby fresh bathroom linger with extra cuteness. When I walk by and smile because my thoughts are of her wrapped in her towel or snuggled in one of her baby blankets.
As far as the throw goes, I think it does a pretty bang up job. I remember the first time I tried this scent, it was a votive and it filled an entire bedroom all by it's lonesome.
The only thing I am missing with this is the lack of Scenterpiece cup. Something tells me I am out of luck with that though.
If you like fresh laundry scents then this one should already be in your collection.
In September they were basically obliterated...yes that is the word I would like to use. Destroyed! Classroom furniture and nerves basically ripped them a new one. The nubs were weak and pitiful. I was sad because I wasn't going to be able to have some awesome welcome back to school mani.

Of course the picture I am showing you in comparison have been stained with color and are very messy. However, they are nice and long again. They are almost to the point of having to say they are too long for me to type correctly and I accidentally stab people with them...not like random people while I am grocery shopping, but like my hubs and myself (yes, I have stabbed myself..don't judge me!). The hubs takes the good with the bad. Stabbing not good....a good automatic back scratcher...awesome. So what do I use to help my nails grow?? First, let me start many years ago (insert Wayne's World Dream Sequence noises)

I'm not here to try and sell products and no one is asking me to advertise their products. Just tell you what works best for me. My nails were always very and I mean VERY soft. They peeled a lot too. I just didn't think much about them. I had acrylic nails put on several times like for prom and homecoming dances but they never lasted long enough for me to get them filled...by the next day like three nails would have popped right off. Seriously I had to get my nails done the day of my wedding and by the end of the honeymoon they were completely off and left a nasty mess behind. Sure I painted them the best I could but I sure wasn't going to pay someone to paint them for me and not only that they would file them so far down they would be painting nubs and trying to talk me into getting a full set of acrylics. Needless to say, the nail to money ratio wouldn't have been a wise choice.
Then...I got pregnant.
You should all take prenatal vitamins. I don't know what exactly is in there that makes your nails like mini Ginsu knives but wow! I enjoyed them! I know you can buy some hair and nail vitamins but I don't need my hair to grow!! sigh. Once the baby came I had to keep them trimmed because I didn't want to accidentally stab the babe. I did keep them a nice length,

What do I use to keep my nails strong and long? Well I have tried a number of things. You will have to figure out what works best for you.
Now I use:

Burt's Bees Cuticle Cream

~ sweet almond oil
~ cocoa seed butter
~ vitamin E
~ sunflower oil
~ fresh lemon scent
this is the bee's knees (LOL sorry I had to) I like this because I can purchase it just about anywhere (I don't have to ship it and if I run out and I just go to the local drug store or grocery store and buy more).

Orly Cuticle Oil

~ Argan oil
~ Jojoba oil
~ vitamin E
I picked this up at Sally's Beauty Supply. They were having some sort of sale where I got it for free if I bought a couple of polishes. I figured why not. I do think it works well however, I don't care for the way it smells. That's personal preference.

Nailtiques Formula 2

I use this for taking care of my peeling, soft nails. They have always been this way. It's not a good combo... because of them being so soft, it pulls the layers of the nail apart and peel. Then the nail that is left is super flimsy. I am not going to lie, it's expensive for how much you get and luckily they do make different sizes so if you want to try it out you don't have to get a large bottle.

Duri Rejuvacote

This is a nail growth system (one of many) that I have used and switch to every now and then. this product is Duri's Rejuvacote which I can buy at my local Walmart. This is a little less expensive than the larger Nailtiques bottle and OPI Nail Envy, but I don't count it out. A lot of people use this product and I will most definitely keep it in with my nail routine supplies.

OPI Nail Envy

I have a love/hate relationship with OPI. I love their colors however they don't love me in return. It doesn't make what I put on underneath their lacquers; basecoat, strong adhesive basecoat, peel resistant anything...cement...it's coming off within 12 hours. I do love Nail Envy though. I won this one from a giveaway on Instagram. I like the fact this particular one dries matte so you don't even know that there is anything on your nail!

Vaseline Healthy Hand & Nail Cream

I have a really hard time finding creams that I can stand having on my hands. Usually they are too greasy or they don't feel like they will ever be rubbed in. This is not too bad and look it's made specifically for your hands and nails! I try to put this on after I wash my hands. Keeps my hands from getting all dried out from all the soap and water.

Even though I have enough lotion to last until who knows when, I have a particular one I love more than the rest. If you want something that is non greasy and I mean as soon as you put it on it completely melts away into your skin, then you need to try LoLLIA! I am sad to say I have just about used up all of mine (it was a small petite tube). I have it in Calm. My aunt gave it to me for either my birthday or perhaps after having Miss C, yes, she still spoils me with little gifts and things. I loved it so much I just couldn't bring myself to using it all the time but the way it just immediately goes into my skin, amazing.

I did forget to show this to you:

This is my everyday cuticle oil by Beauty Secrets purchased at Sally's Beauty Supply. Unlike the Orly one, I love the way these one smells. It's not too much but a hint of coconut. I like the fact that it is offered in this huge bottle. I remember it being pretty inexpensive as well, like $4.

What types of products do you use for your nail care?
This was something I heard about a long time ago and how it was the best scent for bakery lovers. Of course I had to have it after hearing this. May I introduce to you Monster Cookie by Rosegirls.

The scent description is brown sugar, sweet creamy butter and Madagasgar Vanilla.

I should say that this was a huge block of wax that I had to cut...didn't want to use too much of it! So, don't think you only get these little strips of wax. This is definately made for the bakery lovers. It's warm and inviting just like baking cookies at home. This would also make a great blending scent!
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00958328540695569083noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440336602562568354.post-45929777453962067352015-03-22T10:18:00.001-04:002015-03-22T10:18:13.730-04:00Picnic in the Park by Yankee Candle
The other day I picked up this melt cup (I used a $20 off $45 coupon). Wow for drugstore polish! I am proud of them stepping up and actually noticing what up with people in the nail community. Here's an outside pic of this polish. Soooo shiny. Skeptical. I was worried it would be discontinued as quickly as it was put on shelves. It sounded great to me... Melt the wax in cups so they could be switched out at a moments notice. Now watching Youtubers review their new toy I hopped on the bandwagon. I picked this beauty, Crimson. It's a smaller one. $19.99. I picked up a couple of the cups to test it out. The one scent I would like to see is Soft Blanket but that's another story. I popped in a Kitchen Spice. I was not prepared for the butt kicking I was about to received. Knocked my socks off. It took a good bit of time to reach a full wax pool put it filled my great room in no time! The cups are $4.99 but are supposed to last up to 24 hours (regular tarts are up to 8 hours). My cups were on sale for $2.49. So really worth it during sales :D
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00958328540695569083noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440336602562568354.post-59604267998490895442015-01-10T14:35:00.001-05:002015-01-10T14:35:04.756-05:00SASSo it's after the holidays and I have been surfing the two companies (Yankee and B&BW) to see what deals they've been having. I already placed an order with B&BW for some soaps and a few candles. Yankee, however, I waited...as soon as they had a certain amount for 5 or 6. This sale it's 5 for $60. I picked up some regular candles and ... a Scenterpiece! Yay! I am super excited to try out this mess free interchangeable system. I have been putting it off just because I really didn't need to get sucked in to another warmer. But I love the idea of the cups..no ice to help pop out the wax, no left over fragrance to mix in with another. So many reasons. I am just worried that they will discontinue it. But it's a chance I am willing to take. I was told I was going to need surgery and was basically freaking out. I thought why not swing by the nail polish...that will cheer me up!

Cute As A Button is pink and at times looks coral. This bright creamy color called to me from the shelf. I used it as their mailboxes ( fill their slot with graded work, newsletters and other things to be sent home). Friday I would take all of the stuff out and send it home in a folder. The folder would come back emptied and signed acknowledging that parents had gotten the graded work. Repeat.
After a few years of moving from classroom to classroom, the material that covered the sides started to pull away from the unit. I wasn't teaching a grade because I was now part of the activity rotation as the computer teacher. Someone said they wished they could have it...of course knowing it was going to a good home, I decided to part ways with it.

Now back in the classroom, I thought I would try just filing my stuff in a crate with hanging folders. Maybe my fingers are just so fast or clumsy, the stinky hanging folders would get caught up. I was fed up. Yes I know I took up less space, but I felt as if I wanted to throw it in the trash each week.

I purchased a couple of cardboard letter sorters just to finish the year. Of course they were close to $15 a piece and it only had eights slots. At the of the year I made a vow to myself....I will save my money (yes cut back on nail polish and wax) so I could buy a new sorter. I didn't want a wooden one due to the fact the laminate started peeling off my first one...no, no I wanted a metal one. Hardcore steel baby! So this is what it turned out to be:

It is huge!!! When I ordered it on Amazon it said it would hold a ream of paper in each slot. Well I do believe it is able to hold more since the bottom left slot has a ream of paper in it and you can see there is more space!

I am in love with it. I don't have to have anything else out to hold paper. This has enough space for all of my papers or copies for the week ahead, my clipboard sheets (my classroom management), while you were gone sheets, and extra slots I put my card stock and colored copy paper (and still had space left).

It was $250 but totally worth every penny!
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00958328540695569083noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440336602562568354.post-56453894859114281672014-08-09T09:27:00.001-04:002014-09-07T10:08:08.241-04:00Bring Back My Bar PurchaseBring Back My Bar purchase. I move A LOT! I am tired of carrying boxes to my new classroom each year so I figured I could just move this from door to door. I had one a couple of years ago but then I moved to a room that didn't have a strorage closet. Then I brought the one I had home to hold tarts. Now it holds scrapbook stuff as well. I buy the ones with plastic pockets.
This is a great way to see what you actually have without looking all over in several drawers for something. I put anything sharp in the bottom pockets like scissors and staple removers. Less used items on top like my seasonal pens and special erasers I use only on our class book in February. The one I have now I bought at Walmart for $5.96.
Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00958328540695569083noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2440336602562568354.post-68607240874314110512014-07-27T09:16:00.001-04:002014-07-27T09:16:42.463-04:00Play Date at The ZooC and I went to the zoo for a play date the other day. I went to the SAS and found TF. Every once in a while I come across this candle and every single time I turn it down. I guess I was afraid it's going to be crazy sugary sweet...to the point of blowing it out never to be lit again. This time I went for it! Here are my findings..

According to Yankee Candle, Tutti-Fruitti is described as "Forever young . . . the happy candy aroma of a cherry, raspberry, strawberry and lemon whirly pop."

Tutti-Fruitti is a sugary scent for sure. I instantly get the same cherry scent from Cherry Lemonade and then the other fruity scents come in to play. I hear it described as fruit punch often. I agree! Just as fruit punch is a sugary mix of different fruit flavors.

I am drawn to this candle each time because of the beautiful label and the Cherry red wax. Each time I say no but I am so glad I took a chance this time around. After burning one time I went online and bought three more. Although nothing has replaced my beloved Country Lemonade, I feel that this is a fabulous addition to my collection and will use it sparingly.

Throw: 7

Category: Fruit

Behavior: A+. This orange, Rocha, does not look as bring in the picture but it is pretty bright in person. Addison is a pretty mauve with some metallic/shimmer in it. Nice for a neutral tone mani.

Last is Livingston. I have looked at this one so many times and well since Ulta was doing buy two get one free I said why not!! With the 4th of July coming up this would be great for a patriotic mani! Can't wait!
