I went to Lush for the first time on Saturday.  I am not one that feels the need to have hand made products for my hair and skin but I am willing to try it out.  You never know..you might just like it!  So anyways, my poor hubs had to stand there why this very friend guy had his hands all in my hair.  The hubs wasn’t too thrilled but you know if you like long hair you better let me do what I want to maintain it!  Here is the scoop on what I picked up:

jumping juniper solid shampooSolid Shampoo Bar =\= Jumping Juniper
I have never used a solid shampoo and was curious so I picked this one up during my visit to Lush.  I do believe it has lavender, rosemary and juniper oil in it.  When you flip this over you will actually see the rosemary.  It smells nice even though I’m not a big fan of lavender it’s subtle. It does make my hair feel “squeaky clean”.

small conditioner

Solid Conditioner Bar =\= Jungle
According to the website (Lush)Jungle is made for all hair types and contains five different fruits.  It should detangle and make your hair smooth and shiny.  I don’t usually use conditioner because my hair will look greasy no matter how much I use, however, I am excited to try a bar!  I think I will have more control over where the conditioner goes instead of a liquid conditioner that ends up on my scalp and makes my roots look really gross.

snake oil barTea Tree Scalp Treatment Bar=\= Snake Oil
This bar is to be used for dandruff….I know my secret is out now! I don’t have massive dandruff or anything but I like to keep prevention measures on hand just in case I need it.  I was told by the guy at the store to warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds and then scrap off a little and massage it in to my scalp, leave it for 20 minutes and then wash your hair with shampoo.  I haven’t tried it but when I need to, I will let you know how it works.  Said to contain Lavender, tea tree and peppermint oils.

Bubble Bar =\= Creamy Candy Barbubble bar
Yum yum yum!!  Sweet vanilla in a creamy bar makes bath time fun for everyone!  No really!  I really like this product since one of the things I wish would last longer when taking a bubble bath is the bubbles.  I was told if it seems like the bubbles start to die out, just add more water.  Now if I can just get my water heater to make hot water faster then I would be in business!

fizz banger

Bath Bomb =\= Fizzbanger
It’s supposed to smell like apples and cinnamon which I get a little apple but I am sure I’ll get more when I actually use it.  I was told it changes colors while it melts away in the tub.  I don’t use bath bombs regularly but this one might just make a true believer out of me!  After seeing Mrs. Whippy used as an example at the store I am very excited!   Stay tuned for a review of all of these products, either on YouTube or on this blog!
