kitchen spice

I have looked at this candle a couple of times and passed it up because I was sniffing a little too vigorously.  I was grossed out by it so I quickly put it back on the shelf and moved on to the next candle.  Three years have gone by and the other day I was in for the Bake Shop event.  A very sweet SA spent a good bit of time with me, talking about different scents.  I told her that I usually only buy Frosted Cranberry and how I’m sad they don’t have it in soap form any more.  She asked me if I have tried Kitchen Spice and just to see what she had to say about it I said no even though it wasn’t really a lie…I never tried it before since the day I quickly put it back on the shelf.  This time was, well, different!  I took in a soft slow inhale, and OMG it was amazing!  Very stunning and a well-rounded baking spices aroma.  kitchen spice label

If you don’t know what this candle smells like here’s the description on the label: A comforting mixture of nutmeg, allspice, hazelnut, and caramel.

It reminds me of baking pies and cookies for the fall.  I usually like baking scents this time of year but I really think it might be a permanent part of my collection.  I think the next time there’s a 2 for $20 I will stock up since it is a nice one to have on hand.  I do believe Bath and Body Works keeps this one year around anyway.  Love it!  If you are in the market for a year round scent for the kitchen and you want a sweet, cinnamon, yet subtle scent, I would recommend this one!

Enjoy!~
