My picture was taken at night, while warming Clemintine Clove. It's beautiful! I did, however, have a chance to smell this over at my friend Jann's house. I was kind of hoping for a YC Spiced Orange kind of fragrance....I was wrong.
Scentsy describes this fragrance as:

Okay first I was totally NOT expecting the balsam to be so heavy in this. It's like three equally strong notes. Now, I want you all to understand that I LOVE this fragrance. It's sweet, spicy and piney....I had it in my great room and it was perfect! I would recommend this to anyone who likes the notes mentioned. If spicy, sweet with a pine tree is what you desire, then what are you waiting for, order it! I am happy with it and would defiantly buy more.

I ordered this scent not too long ago on a hunch from a reading all the reviews on it. Apparently this scent is very popular and why wouldn’t it be? It’s a sugar cookie….a delicious buttery, sugary sweet sugar cookie. Everyone I have talked to highly recommends it.
On cold sniff it’s very creamy and buttery yet not too sweet where you are getting cavities just from smelling it, but has the right amount of sugar. It smells like butter, sugar, and a hint of vanilla blended together with a mixer. A yummy start to this delicious baked treat!
It didn’t totally wow me when I opened the clamshell. However, when I placed it in the huge cupcake warmer that I purchased last year, it started to smell delicious! The sweet vanilla and butter come out, still creamy but more of a bakery smell. Definitely a good way to enjoy a sweet treat.

Last year I purchased a Scentsy warmer and some bars (while they were having the Bring Back My Bar sale). I picked up Luscious Lemon and Cutiepie Cupcake. I am just about done with both of those bars, yes it took me that long. LOL! The reason for it taking so long is I have the cupcake shaped warmer. SO cute, right? Well I didn’t really have a place for it…it’s a big cupcake. BUT I have been leaving the frosting top off and have used it everyday since. After figuring out that dilemma, I bought the buy 6 bars for $25 deal.
Sugar Cookie: According to Scentsy
“Warm, sweet blend of butter, sugar and creamy vanilla.” I think it smells wonderful! It’s really a sugary sweet treat. I heard this scent is very popular and I can see why. I feel that most cookie scents are great year round scent, especially if you are trying to sell your home.
Flirtatious: According to Scentsy ”Fruity and vibrant, a combination of green apple, grapefruit, and white amber.” I think this smelled like it had melon in it. I guess it was the grapefruit throwing me for a loop. I am looking forward to trying this scent. Whenever I look at the label I feel like such a girly girl. Like it should be the name of some pop star’s perfume.
Lemon Coconut Chiffon: According to Scentsy ”Melt-in-your-mouth lemon custard layered with butter cake and sprinkled with toasted coconut.” I do believe we have a winner! If you are scared of both lemon and coconut, this might be a good scent to try. They work well together plus you get some of the bakery/cake notes. Delish!
Cherry Limeade: According to Scentsy “Zesty key lime, sweet cherry, and juicy berry: a delicious scent reminiscent of a soda fountain drink.” YES! This is a summer time treat! I love going to a certain drive thru fast food establishment that sells cherry limeade. So refreshing!
Baked Apple Pie: According to Scentsy ”Flaky crust, apples and spices combined in a strong scent.” I get a really nice sweet apple note and a sweet spicy note with just a smidge of crust/bakery. I can’t wait to see if this is as strong as smells cold.
Lucky in Love: According to Scentsy ”Sweet bouquet of mandarin, bergamot and orange with hints of peaches and berries.” This smells like Love Spell, which is one of my favorite fragrances. A wonderfully sweet scent, very beautiful.
I also ordered a plug in Jack-o-lantern for the fall. He was in the close out section for I thought why not. He’s cute, and I can keep him in the guest bath so my nephews will be able to see where they are going when they visit.
The two scents I order before:
Cutiepie Cupcake: “Sweet clementine and yellow cake batter with vanilla and sugary icing.”
Luscious Lemon: “Light, creamy lemon.”
They have a variety of candle/tart warmers, I have never used the ones that have a lamp shining down on the top of the candle. I believe those melt both the bottom and the top simultaneously. I am pleased with mine and would continue to buy this brand (as long as it’s in Bed, Bath and Beyond). I believe I paid $13 at BBB and now that I’m thinking about it I should have used a coupon. There is also a company called Vista Wholesale which I have heard several people mention. I have never ordered from them but they have relatively inexpensive warmers.
Let’s move on, how to get the wax out of the dish. I just place a few ice cubes on the top of the wax which will cause it to shrink. It should slide right now. Sometimes I get tarts/melts that are stubborn. When that happens, I just place the whole dish in the freezer. I leave the ice cubes on the top, sometimes it gives me something to grab on to while trying to remove the wax. This really only happens when I don’t use the whole melt/tart or it’s too thin of a layer and refuses to budge. I have read all sorts of tricks like putting a drop of water, wipe the bowl with oil or spray non stick cooking spray in the bottom of the dish. I haven’t tried these but I guess the water prevents the wax from forming a tight seal which in turn slides out of the dish or breaks into pieces. Obviously the non stick spray and oil would help the wax from sticking…it should slide right out. Something about mixing stuff in my wax, I’m afraid would make it tweak the scent.
What’s the difference between the warmer in the picture and a warmer from Scentsy or BH&G? True there are several different warmers out there. Scentsy and BH&G warmers are bulb warmers which are nice if you have children and/or pets. The wax doesn’t get scalding hot and they also can be used as a night light. I own the cupcake warmer from Scentsy and I have to say I love it. This warmer takes the low and slow approach, low heat releases the scent slowly which of course means you don’t have to replace or change out the wax (unless you are tired of the scent). As long as the wax is jam packed with oils then it will last for a long time. These warmers, however, are not made to melt a Paraffin wax melt/tart (like Yankee). You can try, but both of my light bulb warmers couldn’t even get it to melt the bottom of the tart. My PartyLite warmer does have a hot plate and an LED light inside so it’s like the best of both worlds. I have a snowman one from the holiday season and it was pretty inexpensive as well. I think I bought it during the typical after the holiday sales.
When shopping for an electric warmer keep these questions in mind:
1. Can you remove the dish?
2. Do I want a heating plate or melt by light bulb heat?
3. How wide is the dish? Remember, wider gives off more of a scent throw.
4. What is the wattage? Mine are 24 watt, which makes the wax super hot.
5. Where am I putting this warmer?
6. If décor is your thing, does it match? Don’t end up like me and wondering why I bought a big cupcake warmer. It took sometime but I found it to be perfect in the kitchen.

When it was shipped, the Scentsy Bars were wrapped in an ice pack and weren’t soft when they were delivered. They were sitting outside all day while I was at work and this was during the summer (end of July/beginning of August). The order was processed pretty quick and I received an email from my consultant letting me know that my order would arrive the next day. This is my warmer:
If you look over the minor things you can be a proud Scentsy owner! Just like anything else, it has it’s pros and cons. I will order more Scentsy bars at least. I really enjoy their scents and I did get some that were part of the Bring Back My Bar sale. That’s when they had the scents that were discontinued available for purchase. I bought two lemon scents which I was happy with one of them. The other I didn’t really smell anything so I might have to add another block to the warmer and see how it turns out.
