Went to BBW for the Bake Shop event. I was hoping it was going to be a 2/$20 on all 14.5oz candles. I only picked up 2 candles, both were Cinnamon Sugared Donut. If you haven’t see this one before here it is:
This is a fabulous scent! I loved my preview candle so I knew I wanted to get a couple of these. Anyway, I did get three preview candles for the holiday scents and here they are:
Candied Sugar Plum:
Not my kind of scent but I think it’s a good winter scent for people that think of sweet candies for the holidays. I really don’t since I do a lot of baking. I am a Kitchen Spice and Frosted Cranberry kind of girl myself. I will do more of a review on this one when I actually melt it (remember I pop the little guys in the freezer and pop them out of the plastic and right into the tart warmer. Gives off a wonderful throw that way).
Gingerbread:
I will try this one for sure since I love to bake and I don’t usually make gingerbread men since I don’t like the smell of molasses however some of the candles that are in this scent aren’t over board with that smell. We shall see =).
Marshmallow Peppermint:
I have heard that Twisted Peppermint is coming back and I’m glad to hear it. I don’t care for this one, it doesn’t seem to have the same strong yet creamy peppermint that good ol’ Twisted Peppermint has, but once again I say I will know more when I melt it. It might surprise me! I have turned my nose up at scents before and regretted it after I burned it. Even when buying candles, first impressions are everything =).
